What do I do if I can't find a product in the app?
If you can't find a product in the database, don't worry! The Fooducate app includes the ability to easily add products to our database, simply by scanning the product barcode and submitting pictures of the food.
To submit a product, please do the following:
First make sure you have your email set up in your phone settings. This is required to submit product pictures through the app.
- Open the app
- Press Scanner
- Scan the product barcode
- A prompt will appear to take 3 pictures (front of the package, nutrition label, and ingredients list)
- Select Retake or Use image
- Tap the send arrow to send the pictures to be reviewed
Once the product and pictures have been reviewed you will be able to view it in the app and add it to the Tracker. Please note, all products are verified by our team and processing times may vary.
