Setting Your Weight Goal
- Select 'Yes' to set a Target Weight.
- Enter your Gender, Height, Birthdate, and Current Weight.
- Describe your daily activity level by choosing an option that best represents your lifestyle.
Your Activity Level
Answer the question "How active are you during the day" to help Fooducate determine your daily calorie goal.
Daily Calorie Goal
Based on the information provided, Fooducate will suggest a Daily Calorie Goal to help you reach your target weight healthily and sustainably.
Creating Your Fooducate Profile
Setting up an account with Fooducate is a required step to begin your personalized health journey. However, should you choose to discontinue, the app ensures a straightforward process for you to independently delete your account without the need for assistance from Support.
- Sign Up: Create your account to save and track your progress.
- Fooducate Profile: Fill in your Username and a brief description in the 'About You' section.
- Click 'Continue' to finalize your profile setup.
Getting to Know the Interface
After setting up your profile, you'll be brought to the Health Tracker, your default page on Fooducate. This is where you'll monitor your progress, track your calorie intake, and get insights into your health journey.

10. Community Button - Ask questions or share health accomplishments with other Fooducate users, premium only. | |

This section displays your daily food intake. Tap 'Log Food' to start recording your meals.
Adding Food:
Scanner - Use this feature to quickly add your favorite products by scanning their barcodes.
Search Bar - Use this to find and log unlabelled products like fruits and vegetables.
Water Consumption
Adding Water:
- Tap the green Plus button and select water to log each 8 oz. cup of water you drink.
HINT: Staying well-hydrated is essential for overall health. Keep track of your daily water intake to meet your hydration goals.
Menu Bar
Navigate swiftly through the app with the Menu Bar at the bottom of the screen. Whether you're scanning a product, tracking your meals, or exploring community insights, the Menu Bar keeps these tools conveniently at your fingertips.
Scanner - Search for foods by barcode using your phone's camera. Simply scan the barcode of any food product and select your serving size to log it in the Tracker.
Tracker - Stay on top of your dietary goals with the Tracker. Log your meals, monitor your nutrient intake, and track your progress over time. This feature is your daily companion in maintaining a balanced and health-focused lifestyle.
Add - Tap this button to record today's food, water intake, exercise, sleep, weight, measurements, mood, hunger levels, or even jot down a note.
Community - Engage with a supportive network of like-minded individuals in the Community section. Share experiences, exchange tips, and seek advice from fellow users who are also on their path to better health. Together, you can inspire and motivate each other towards achieving your wellness goals.
